Slash live setup during World Tour

The german Guitar Magazin from august 2010 features an interesting article by Chet Haun (Slash guitar tech). It's about Slash's gear for his tour. Here are the main facts.

Amps (switched backstage via Whirlwind A/B Box)
  • 1987 Marshall JCM 2555 Silver Jubilee (for clean sounds)
  • 1996 Marshall JCM 2555 Slash Signature (for distorted sounds)
  • 2010 Marshall AFD100 (for distorted sounds)
The signal of the amps runs in mono, and without powersoak, directly into 2 of the 4 Marshall Vintage boxes on stage. The two upper boxes are used for clean sounds, the two lower boxes are used for distorted sounds.
